Fall TBR

Woot, woot! We are starting fall! I am so pumped for the weather to cool down a bit and all the fun fall festivities to begin! To go along with my fall excitement, here are the books I hope to read this season!

1) Cinder by Marissa Meyer
     I am currently reading this one and almost halfway through, so I am planning to finish this one      soon! Goodreads Link

2) Everything All At Once by Katrina Leno
     I received this book in my August Uppercase subscription box, and I am super excited to get into it! If you're interested, here is a link to the Uppercase Box website! Goodreads Link

3) Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab
     I loved This Savage Song, so I am so pumped to get into the sequel! I thought this story would be awesome to read in October because it's such a dark world with monsters everywhere! Goodreads Link

4) The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
     I have been meaning to get to this book for so long, and I have decided that this fall is going to be the time. Fall is the perfect time to snuggle up with a thriller, so I am going to take advantage of this time and finally get to this book! Goodreads Link

5) Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
     I can not tell you how excited I am for this book. I got this book for my birthday this year, and I am so excited!! I have heard such awesome things about Laini Taylor, so I am super pumped to get to finally read one of her books. Plus the story just sounds awesome. Goodreads Link

There you have it! I only chose 5 books for this season because I know during the school year I don't have a lot of time to read, so I don't want to pressure myself to read a bunch of books and set myself up for failure. Hi, friends! This past month I have had the pleasure of joining the Book Club along with a wonderful group of girls. I am so excited to be able to participate in this book club because it has always been a dream of mine to be in a book club! Fall Wrap Up

Hi, friends! I can't believe the ending of another season is already here! I haven't read a ton of books this season, but the ones that I did read, I have really enjoyed! I am excited to share the books I read this fall with you! Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I listened to this book on audio book, and I absolutely loved it! I have heard so much about this book for so long that I finally decided to pick it up myself, and I am so glad I did. I loved getting to see this very unique perspective on all the fairy tales we heard growing up. This story is so imaginative, and I love the world, and worlds, that Seanan McGuire brings to life in this novel. My Favorite Books of 2017

2017 has flown by, but not without leaving behind some really awesome books. This year as a whole has been a more challenging one for me, but I did read a few books that have stuck with me along the way. Here is my list of books that have stayed with me and left an impression this year: A List of Cages by Robin Roe Amazon I loved this book so much! I borrowed this book from the library, and I so wish I could have kept it! I gave this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The Unbound by Victoria Schwab Amazon The first book I ever read by Victoria Schwab was The Archived, and I loved it! This was the equally fantastic sequel that I read this year. I gave this book a five out of five stars. The only thing I wish is that THE PUBLISHER WOULD LET HER WRITE THE THIRD BOOK!!
