Reading Rush 2019 Wrap Up


Hi, friends! I have had so much fun the past week participating in the Reading Rush! I have participated in the Reading Rush (formerly Booktubeathon) for 3 years now, and this year was by far the most fun I've had. I loved the new website, participating more on Twitter, and all the books that I read!

I feel super accomplished this year, as I did pretty well! I didn't put too much pressure on myself, I just read as much as I could while still enjoying myself. Overall, I think I did pretty well considering that I worked two days this week and did some wedding planning stuff this weekend!

I was so close to completing all 7 challenges this week, but I just couldn't get those last 65 pages of Aristotle and Dante finished before midnight. I am still super pleased with how well I did this week though! I had so much fun participating in all the activities, and I loved the books that I read! I read and earned way more badges than I thought I was going to, so I count it as a success.

Fall Wrap Up

Hi, friends! I can't believe the ending of another season is already here! I haven't read a ton of books this season, but the ones that I did read, I have really enjoyed! I am excited to share the books I read this fall with you! Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I listened to this book on audio book, and I absolutely loved it! I have heard so much about this book for so long that I finally decided to pick it up myself, and I am so glad I did. I loved getting to see this very unique perspective on all the fairy tales we heard growing up. This story is so imaginative, and I love the world, and worlds, that Seanan McGuire brings to life in this novel. My Favorite Books of 2017

2017 has flown by, but not without leaving behind some really awesome books. This year as a whole has been a more challenging one for me, but I did read a few books that have stuck with me along the way. In case you want to check them out yourself, I will have each one linked to where you can buy them! Here is my list of books that have stayed with me and left an impression this year: A List of Cages by Robin Roe Amazon I loved this book so much! I borrowed this book from the library, and I so wish I could have kept it! I gave this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The Unbound by Victoria Schwab Amazon The first book I ever read by Victoria Schwab was The Archived, and I loved it! This was the equally fantastic sequel that I read this year. I gave this book a five out of five stars. The only thing I wish is that THE PUBLISHER WOULD LET HER WRITE THE THIRD BOOK!!
