Reading Rush 2019 Wrap Up

Image
Hi, friends! I have had so much fun the past week participating in the Reading Rush! I have participated in the Reading Rush (formerly Booktubeathon) for 3 years now, and this year was by far the most fun I've had. I loved the new website, participating more on Twitter, and all the books that I read! I feel super accomplished this year, as I did pretty well! I didn't put too much pressure on myself, I just read as much as I could while still enjoying myself. Overall, I think I did pretty well considering that I worked two days this week and did some wedding planning stuff this weekend! Here are my final stats: (images are from my profile on the Reading Rush website. They did an awesome job designing!) Total Books Read: 3.75 Fullmetal Alchemist Volumes 7-9 by Hiromu Arakawa Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan  The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas  (Most of) Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz At midnight last night I only ha...

Summer Wrap Up

Image
Hi, friends! We have already found ourselves at the end of another season! This wrap up is for the summer season which are the books I read in the months of June through August. This summer I actually surprised myself and read way more books that I expected! I counted them up, and I read 12 books this summer!! I didn't think I read that much, so I was super excited when I saw this! This caught me up on my Goodreads goal, and I finished two series that I was in the middle of. Overall, I'd say I had a pretty successful summer of reading, and I'm really happy with what I read. I ended up reading: Cress by Marissa Meyer  I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars  I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Foreman I gave this a 3 out of 5 stars. This was also my first audiobook!   Fairest by Marissa Meyer  I gave this a 3 out of 5 stars Winter by Marissa Meyer  I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars. This was the concluding novel to the Lunar Chronicles, and it was the fi...

Booktubeathon Wrap Up

Image
Booktubeathon has ended, and I'm pretty sure I have never read so much in my life. Although I didn't complete all the challenges (which I knew going into it that I wouldn't, but I was going to try), I am still really pleased with how I did! If you're interested, here is  my final tally: Number of Challenges Completed:  Five Read a book with a person on the cover (Always and Forever, Lara Jean) Read a book in one day (Lord of the Flies) Read a hyped book (A Darker Shade of Magic) Read a cover buy (The Rosie Project) Read a book with characters different from you (Lord of the Flies) Total Pages Read:  1,255!! I literally could not believe this because I read at the pace of a sloth. Total Number of Books Read:  Four Inserted here is a picture of all the books I read (and loved) during the Booktubeathon! The only downer was Lord of the Flies, I was very much not a fan.  If you would like, you can read my  Booktubeathon TBR  as well ...

December Wrap Up

Image
Hello readers! The end of December is already here which is so crazy because it doesn't seem like it's been a whole month already! It is also a little unwelcomed by me because this means I only have a week left at home before it's back to college for me. Which means even less time to read. Honestly, going back to college is my biggest worry for this blog because I am afraid that I will get so crazy busy that I won't have time to read and post as much as I would like. But I guess we will see when we get there! Anyhoo, on to the reason we are here: my December wrap up! This month I got two books read which, although it is a very small amount to most people, is pretty good for me since I would consider myself a slow reader. The two books I read were: One Plus One by Jojo Moyes This was a book about an unexpected road trip shared by millionaire, Ed, and his cleaner Jess and her two children, Nicky and Tanzie, to get Tanzie to her Maths Olympiad. I enjoyed this boo...
