My Favorite Books of 2017

Image
2017 has flown by, but not without leaving behind some really awesome books. This year as a whole has been a more challenging one for me, but I did read a few books that have stuck with me along the way. In case you want to check them out yourself, I will have each one linked to where you can buy them! Here is my list of books that have stayed with me and left an impression this year: A List of Cages by Robin Roe Amazon I loved this book so much! I borrowed this book from the library, and I so wish I could have kept it! I gave this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Then a stunning opportunity presents itself, in the person of a hero called the Godslayer and a band of legendary warriors, and he has to seize his chance or lose his dream forever. What happened in Weep two hundred years ago to cut it off from the rest of the world? What exactly d

I hope to get better about that in the new year, but for now here is my super late fall wrap up! This season I: Read 3 books  Read a total of 1,150 pages  Had one 5 star book  Overall I thought this was a pretty good season for reading considering I was in school the whole time. I had two books that I really enjoyed, so I would consider this season a success!  The books I read this season were:  1. Cinder by Marissa Meyer  Humans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, a ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth’s fate hinges on one girl. Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her steps
