Bookmas Day 6: Six Books You Wish You Read in 2016

Hello readers!

It is Bookmas Day 6, so I am here with another blog challenge! Today's topic is six books you wish you read in 2016 which is super easy for me because I didn't read a lot this year, so there are a TON of books I wish I read. So here is a list of six that I am really sad I didn't read this year:

  1. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo 
  2. I'll Give you the Sun by Jandy Nelson
  3. Cinder/ The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
  4. A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E, Schwab
  5. This Savage Song by V. E. Schwab
  6. The Diabolic by S. J Kincaid 
This list is in no particular order, however I'm probably most upset about the V. E. Schwab books because I read The Archived by Victoria Schwab earlier this year and loved it, so I really wanted to get to more of her books this year. I am afraid the only book that has a chance this year is I'll Give You the Sum by Jandy Nelson as it is the only book on this list that I own and it is on my Bookmas TBR.

Reading Update: I have barely started The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah (like page 12 barely started) as of yesterday morning, I have had no time to read this weekend, but I hope I can get a little reading done before bed tonight!

Fall Wrap Up

Hi, friends! I can't believe the ending of another season is already here! I haven't read a ton of books this season, but the ones that I did read, I have really enjoyed! I am excited to share the books I read this fall with you! Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I listened to this book on audio book, and I absolutely loved it! I have heard so much about this book for so long that I finally decided to pick it up myself, and I am so glad I did. I loved getting to see this very unique perspective on all the fairy tales we heard growing up. This story is so imaginative, and I love the world, and worlds, that Seanan McGuire brings to life in this novel. My Favorite Books of 2017

2017 has flown by, but not without leaving behind some really awesome books. This year as a whole has been a more challenging one for me, but I did read a few books that have stuck with me along the way. In case you want to check them out yourself, I will have each one linked to where you can buy them! Here is my list of books that have stayed with me and left an impression this year: A List of Cages by Robin Roe Amazon I loved this book so much! I borrowed this book from the library, and I so wish I could have kept it! I gave this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The Unbound by Victoria Schwab Amazon The first book I ever read by Victoria Schwab was The Archived, and I loved it! This was the equally fantastic sequel that I read this year.
